Disney meets Pavarotti meets death metal! 18th studio album from this Canadian metal musician. Sorry to say it, but the Prog Yak thinks this album is over rated. Yes, there, the Yak said it! Some of this album is fantastic and extremely innovative, but it's marred but some insufferable moments. There's so much good here, but the album just isn't that listenable given the harsh moments on the ears scattered throughout. Many people love this album, but the Yak suspects not many have it in their regular rotation to listen to. The Yak would have loved to have edited this album down from 1 hr and 14 minutes to 50 minutes and it would have been a 4.5-Yak album, but as is, it's only a 3.5.
